Watch people all over the world buy books. In real time.
This is not an advertisement. But maybe you could use it as a source of inspiration (and ideas! make yourself a book list!) and go to your nearest brick and mortar independent bookstore…

There’s been quite a frenzy over the work of Tamara Hensick recently. Tamara is one of our most favorite local artists, whose work can always be found on our shelves, all year long; we never tire of the brilliance contained in her tiny little pewter sculptures.
Wonderful, aren’t they?

Looking to learn more about irrigation? Terrorism? Psychotherapy? Here are Five Books selected by an expert in the field to teach you everything you need to know and more.
About a year ago I needed to learn about the procedures for astronauts about to embark on a mission. When I started buying piles of books about astronauts, I got a few snickers. “There’s this thing called the internet. Also, this other thing called Google. Just search the specific thing you’re looking for instead of reading some astronaut’s 300-page memoir, which contains only two paragraphs about what actually happens before blast-off [quarantine]!”
“But,” I protested, “now I have more knowledge than I set out to gain and, don’t you know, knowledge is power.” I don’t actually say things like that, but that was the point I was making.
I know you agree.

Donna and I looked like a pair of maniacs last night as we rolled on the floor, cackling, passing this book back and forth.
It’s just a perfect book. That’s all.
Absolutely wonderful photos of artist Hensick’s imaginative works.
I’ve enjoyed looking at Tamara’s art in your store.
